PLC Programming (Ladder Logic) for Logic Gates



Look the Logic Gates are the base of advance digital like Controllers (Microcontrollers, PLCs) and Processors.
Basically digital field consist on two types one is just combination logic and second one is sequential Logic. In sequential logic some are Programmable devices like Microcontrollers, PLCs, FPGAs, and MicroProcessor etc. So there are different Programming languages w.r.t devices like C, C++, C#, C sharp, ladder language for PLC. Here I am showing Ladder logic by using LogixPro Simulator for Logic Gates. You can download LogixPro Here

NOT Gate Ladder Logic:


very simple by using NC switch with output.

OR Gate Ladder Logic:


By using two NO switches parallel for output as shown above.

AND Gate Ladder Logic:


Two NO switches used in series for output as shown
 
NOR Gate Ladder Logic:


As the simplified boolean expression of NOR. We use two NC switches in series for output.

NAND Gate Ladder Logic:


Same here we use simplified boolean expression of NAND gate for Ladder logic means two NC switches in parallel for output.

for this ladder logic I have share thumb rules for ladder logic.
