PLC 04: OFF Load on Counter 10 in LogixPro Simulator

 

We are sharing PLC Programming and Simulation series.

PLC Lab 04:

Now here we are sharing one more Lab experiment "OFF Load on counter 10" using LogixPro Simulator.

In previous lab we do ON load on counter 10 Now we will see how we can do OFF Load on Counter 10? and Load will ON when we will start our program.

For this experiment we chose the Silo Simulator of LogixPro which very interesting for learners.

 

Scenario: 

In this Simulator we will use just PROX SENSOR as input for PLC and motor as out put and Box is object which will interrupt the PLC counter and counter will count. 

In start motor will run and box pass through PROX SENSOR and sensor will give the interruption to PLC. When PLC counter reach at 10, it will stop the motor. 

Ladder Diagram:

Here is the Ladder diagram of the above problem.

we select NO (Normally Open) switch to associate with external PROX SENSOR and use a CTU (Counter UP).

In 2nd line we use a NC (Normally Close) switch which's is counter dependent, when counter will reach to the given preset value this NC switch will open and stop the motor.
